"A REASON, A SEASON, or A LIFETIME"

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real. But only for a season!
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

"A Hearts Confession"

Once you told me you love me
But I doubted your sincerity
You love to play around and that's how you're meant to be
But to tell you honestly
I was waiting for this moment you see.

I was confused then
And I don't know what to do
But I never showed them to you
I pretended that I do not feel anything for you
When in reality, I am madly in love with you.

Days turned into weeks
And weeks into months
Gee, how fast time flies, don't you think?
It was then that I finally realized that I do love you too
And that I cannot afford to lose you.

But I guess my realization was too late
For I have learned that you already found your mate
Of course, I was surprised upon knowing
And I can't stop myself from crying
Just can't affect the fact, I felt like dying.

Now I have to learn my lesson the hard way
That is, never deny myself the chance to love and be loved
For it is not every day
That love comes to paint the most vibrant colors
For my heart to have!

"I Should Have Known"

You said I took you forgranted
When I do everthing that you wanted
I want to know what wrong have I done
To let this relationship fade 'til gone.

This confused mind is tired of thinking
And it cannot decide on anything
Sometimes I would find myself staring blankly at things
Suffer long sleepless nights and being anorexic at times
I guess I should have told you the words you ought to hear
While I still have time to tell you so.

These lips full of words left unspoken
Left my heart sad and broken
And now that were through
Regrets were left for me to attend to.

I should have told you that my world revolved around you
My love kept burning just for you
The warmth of my passion kept glowing only for you
But you did not see the flame
And I only got myself to blame.

I thought you knew it all along
But I was mistaken and now I feel blue
I should have known
Before your love had outgrown.
